Young Scholars Academy sponsors several different summer camp programs for children ages 4-14. These programs are adjusted based on the age of the children. Our Camps will have a unique blend of fun and interesting learning experiences.
Each summer program is not only designed for specific ages but also for specific budgets.
The programs provide a well-supervised experience. Parents are able to pick a program that fits their needs. Enrichment classes are also included in your camp fee!
This year for summer camp we are focusing on all the things that kids say they want to be! To further all the careers of all around us we are also tying in the curriculum (our math, science, language and literacy!) It's such a fun summer -- look to see what the kids have done so far!

Young Scholars Academy’s SUMMER ODYSSEY Program
Summer Odyssey is exciting and kid friendly adventure featuring sporting events, rock climbing, bar-b-que’s, and exploring Colorado Springs' natural and cultural worlds through art, music, and dance experiences. This camp is specially planned to be developmentally appropriate for elementary aged children in order to maximize their fun and learning. Space is limited to 28 campers so sign up early.
Young Scholars Academy’s STEAM Program
(Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math)
STEAM is designed EXCLUSIVELY for 4 year-olds to the summer camp experience and more importantly develops concepts that the kids will keep throughout their whole education experience.
The children get the opportunity to explore the themes while getting working with their other kids to complete goals- this builds social skills, gives kids a sense of independence, and overall teamwork!
Guests are brought in throughout the program to help with the weekly projects, bring in materials to help with the concepts and stir up some laughs!
Young Scholars Academy’s SAFARI Program
Our SAFARI program is based on ages so that we may plan developmentally appropriate activities for everyone. Safari is for ages five through fourteen. During camp your child will get to explore local parks and area attractions, as well as participate in community projects, giving them a sense of purpose and service!
The Safari kids go on field trips 3 times a week based on each week’s specific curriculum theme. These field trips are all around Colorado Springs giving the opportunity for each kid to find something that really fits their learning style! Perfect for the child who wants to be involved with trips but still slow down and enjoy the summer before it goes away!
