Looking to feel connected with your kid?
As a working parent you may feel guilt for not being as involved in their academics as you may have hoped. That’s alright! We’ve gone ahead and gathered some lessons that you can recreate a hope in just a few simple steps. Kids don’t need you to know everything, they just need you to be part of their lives!
Here at Young Scholars Academy, our curriculum is typically broken down into a couple different areas of academics. Each day, the goal is to focus on;
- Math & Manipulatives
- Creative Art
- Science & Sensory
- Social Studies
- Phonics & Language Development
- Fine & Gross Motor
- Literacy & Comprehension
Whether its painting a canvas or themselves, our nationally-accredited program encourages children to get a little messy and get their brain stimulated! In a typical day you can find our Toddlers with paint in between their fingers and our preschoolers with paint everywhere else! Our Curriculum Coordinator oversees the overall goals of the building and makes plans and expectations of what to accomplish, and our teachers individualize lessons that fit their classroom best.
We nurture a child’s love for art by giving them the opportunity to create a masterpiece that they can be proud of. Art in the classroom can be ways for our kids to express themselves and grow in their development as part of our Nationally-accredited program art is available throughout each day to encourage child directed play.
