Is Your Child Not Quite Ready For Kindergarten?
This Junior Kindergarten Program is designed specifically for the kids with birthdates later in the year meaning that will miss the cut off dates for most elementary schools in Colorado.
This accredited daycare program furthers their education, social, and emotional growth so that when it is time for your child to go to kindergarten they will be MORE than ready is various aspects!
The Young Scholars Academy Junior Kindergarten program meets Kindergarten standards by assessing the children in class and tailoring the curriculum to those needs.
Our program provides a slightly more structured environment to help your child begin the transition to Kindergarten to be like an actual classroom.
Meet The Teachers
We are more than proud to say that we have hand selected two teachers specifically for this program. Ms. Dotty and Ms. Judy are MORE than qualified to help nurture your child’s growth and development to ensure that they are ready for Kindergarten.
Ms. Dotty has her Associates in Early Childhood Education and Ms. Judy with her Master’s degree in Education and Leadership with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education, that’s some team right?!
Pre-reading and pre-writing activities are further developed. Circle time at Young Scholars Academy child care is a bit longer to increase your child’s attention span and so that we can cover the curriculum goals for the day.
Positive social and emotional skills are reinforced, children are directed to clean up own messes and problem solve situations with their peers. Our teachers are here to help give your kids the direction and words to use in these situations.
In our child care program, your child learns about and prepares for the more formal setting of a kindergarten classroom, the expected standards of their conduct and behaviors, as well as how they operate.

Instructors at Young Scholars Academy encourage these skills with everything we do.
