All of us at Young Scholars Academy are very humbled and proud of the glowing reviews from our parents–--and we hope these help you discover just how special we are!
Dear potential family member, that is what you will become, family.
I am a military spouse living thousands of miles from any support so childcare had to be extra special for me. I was looking for a place where my child would grow, learn, make friends and be so happy that she would always talk about her time there and be excited to go back every day. Well last year, I didn't just find that, I found family. This by far is an amazing addition but I do not want to take the focus off of all of the important other things about YSA. My four year old daughter READS, I mean she READS, big words! She comes home and schools me on the solar system and her best lesson yet " How poop gets made". An intricate little fable about the intestinal tract that she has absolutely mastered.
My 6 month old has been attending YSA since she was about 2 months old, I leave her every morning with a smile knowing that she will be changed often , fed often and is always surrounded by love and laughter. I know this because YSA has the capability to let me sneak into the room with the secure live feed on their app and I am more than welcome to call at any time to check on both of my girls. The security here is top notch and no one enters the building who doesn't need to be there.
If you are looking for more than just a daycare, if you are looking to make friends just as much as your children will, to be greeted everyday by people who genuinely care about you and your family then YSA is the place to be.

“Newly moving to Colorado Springs, we were very lucky to find Young Scholars Academy for our children. We have been impressed with the educational structure provided to our children along with the care they receive. The staff are more than accommodating when grade school was cancelled due to unforeseen forces such as weather or school holidays. My preschooler has learned above and beyond of what is required at her level. Her language and behavior have exponentially improved within the year that she has been enrolled. She has gained confidence and a sense of pride, which I attribute to Miss Dottie and the other educators who interact with her on a daily basis.
My children have met so many friends and teachers, which they have grown to love and consider family. I am confident they are in the best hands when I leave them every day before going to work. When picking them up, I know my 1st grader has already read and performed homework duties for the night thanks to Miss Mary’s help.
Recently, our family dog passed away. The children were devastated. However, Miss Mary was able to provide comfort to the girls with stories of her own pets that passed away. Life lessons are taught at Young Scholars and I am grateful for these times of comfort from the staff that we as parents cannot provide while we are away. Overall, I highly recommend Young Scholars Academy to anyone wanting a family centered environment that is dedicated to education and values. I could not imagine sending my children anywhere else. “ –

"As a new family we were just so blessed to find Young Scholars Academy! We were looking for a place that came alongside our parenting style. One that promoted family, and values, education and believed in children's independence and ability. At our first meeting I was given time to ask questions and didn't feel rushed. I was told to come back several time to pop in and ask more questions if I needed to, to make sure that I felt comfortable.
While at Young Scholars Academy my daughter learned to tie her shoes, make friends and that ants burn under magnifying glass in the summertime but don't taste very good when you eat them with your best friend. She learned how to deal with conflict, how to lead and how to take a back seat. She grew strong in her sense of self and Young Scholars Academy became a HUGE part of our family! I have Young Scholars Academy to blame for her excelling at school, graduating early with her super high GPA and the multiple honors classes, and college credits she received early. Awesome, yes, but we contribute her love of books, her kindness to others around her as well as her dedication to doing the right thing for the right reasons to the partnership of Young Scholars Academy. She is amazingly talented and a beautiful woman and we are so blessed to have connected early with such a wonderful place!"
Young Scholars Academy is an amazing place for children to learn and grow. My son attends YSA and every since we have been going there he has been happier then any other previous childcare setting I have had him in. He communicates better and knows how to do things at his age that amazes me. He likes to show off all that he knows and every time he does we get asked what center we go to. I have been nothing but happy since we started with YSA. The "little things" to other centers are huge achievements at YSA.
My son graduated from the todd A room to the todd B room and they had a certificate and everything for him. I was very impressed and excited for them to be so excited for him. The teachers are absolutely amazing as well. They really work hard to give the children the best overall experience they could possibly have. It's not a place where children are just babysat and left to do their own thing, it's not a daycare, it's a home away from home. It's where my son spends most of his time and I can rest assured he is in the best possible hands in all of Colorado. I don't have to worry if he is learning or in a safe place because of the exceptional job of the center as a whole. My son has excelled in his life already and he is only two.
I look forward to him growing and learning from the people at YSA for years to come because the teachers don't just teach, they love and that is the most important aspect they could give my son. For him to know they want to see him is a blessing. The absolute BEST learning center (home away from home) in Colorado hands down.
"The caregivers are educated and loving; my children love to come to Young Scholars Academy."
